I am an assistant professor in Northern Arizona University. I joined The W.A. Franke College of Business since 2022. I received my PhD degree from David Eccles School of Business, University of Utah in Summer 2022. In 2016, I received a Master of Information Systems degree from Cal. State University, Fullerton. My current research interest is mainly focused on how gamification and peer gifting motivate user-generated contents in online communities. I'm familiar with a variety of empirical research methods, including survey, experiment, econometrics, and machine learning.
I am also interested in research topics related to current issues of technology uses, such as online learning, technology adoption, and cybersecurity. My work has appeared in journals including ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems and Journal of Education for Business. My CV is here, and Google Scholar site is here. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and traveling to national parks.
