I am a fifth-year PhD candidate in Management Information Systems at the University of Utah, expecting to graduate in Summer 2022. In 2015, I received a Master of Information Systems degree from Cal. State University, Fullerton. My current research interest is mainly focused on how gamification and peer gifting motivate user-generated contents in online communities. I'm familiar with a variety of empirical research methods, including survey, experiment, econometrics, and machine learning.
I am also interested in research topics related to current issues of technology uses, such as online learning, technology adoption, and cybersecurity. My work has appeared in journals including ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems and Journal of Education for Business. My CV is here, and Google Scholar site is here. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and traveling to national parks.
